The Social Corporation

We seek to create safe spaces for artists by building a billion-dollar social business ecosystem to fund community held institutions.

Social Corporations operate in a different paradigm than corporations that are often not granted the space to operate in Level 1 or 2 profit sensitivity modes. (e.g. Level 1: Profit-Generating, Level 2: Profit-prioritizing Level 3: Profit maximizing) This siloed and fixed approach does not often grant traditional corporations the flexibility to be accountable to their home country while maximizing the country’s values. “Community-holders” then become structurally deprioritized as traditional corporations instead bow to public and private shareholders because of the tunnel-vision Wall Street expectation of maximizing profit at all costs. This blind spot leads to  collective decisions made everyday at traditional corporations that negatively impact long term stability which disables humans from freely and safely pursuing happiness.  These decisions reinforce institutional structures that were originally designed at inception to not prioritize the full freedom of financial abundance and the full freedom of physical and emotional space and safety for all humans.

SCs have the flexibility to actively oscillate between varying profit sensitivities because they abide by a strict framework where they exist for the sole benefit of generating return for “community-holders”. SCs demonstrate their commitment to community holders by joining spending organizations as empowered holistic contributors. SCs are members and leaders in a new idea that we are exploring.

SCs participate exist an ecosystem where their executive and governance leaders are trained and held accountable to follow a set of defined practices. SCs are guided by firms that facilitate change through the right mix of recurring workflows, deliverables, dashboards, and conversations with the belief that once blockers are removed SCs gain the space to create, innovate, and advance on the urgent mission work of maximizing life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for “community-holders”.

SCs are primarily scored on the percentage of un-reinvested profit flowed to giving accounts to fund change.  This profit will generate a return for “community-holders” and generate profit specifically for social benefit. SCs are also measured and ranked based on several components that will be documented in an annual white paper as part of our annual Black History Month celebration.
